Sony VAIO VGN-TX670P Laptop Review
- by Justin Jaffe
Toshiba’s most recent mainstream 15.4” widescreen offering is the M45, a substantial upgrade to the company’s exceedingly popular M35 and M35X notebooks. A quick glance at the chassis reveals a much sleeker overall design, with a thinner profile and greatly improved ergonomics. The company has finally moved the speakers behind the keyboard rather than leaving them on the wrist rest, where a user’s hands could block the sound, and the engineers have even managed to improve the faux plastic bezel/housing surrounding the keyboard. In fact, the finish is so good that the machine actually appears to be made of metal. Overall, the M45 represents a genuine refinement and vast improvement when compared to its predecessor.

Toshiba Portege R200 - Notebooks - Review
- by Nick Ross

But there comes a point where you can now become impractically small. Many felt that the X505 certainly was and at first glance the new R200 skates pretty close to the edge.
