Samsung Yepp YP-55V Review - Full Review
- by na
Samsung’s Yepp series MP3 players have always been hot sellers due to their large memory capacity and unique features. However with MP3 jukeboxes slowly gaining in market share and dropping in price, Samsung has an even larger challenge ahead if they are going to offer a Flash memory based MP3 player. The Samsung Yepp YP55V offers larger-than-average storage capacity of 256 MB compared to other MP3 players, yet is still much more affordable than going the MP3 jukebox route. With features like an integrated FM tuner and USB hard drive capabilities, the YP55V stays true to the Yepp roots.

Samsung Yepp YP-T5V Review
- by DT
Samsung’s YP-T5V is an above-average digital audio player and it does not pretend to be a more advanced player than what it is. It does not support Macintosh or Linux operating systems, cannot read Ogg Vorbis audio formats and doesn’t offer an Apple iPod quality finish, but for what the YP-T5V is capable of doing, the player does it pretty well. The ear buds are high quality and the cable is long enough to use while working out, and because the YP-T5V is so tiny and includes an FM tuner, it is perfect for the gym.

ZDNet Cowon iAudio U2 (1GB) Review
- by Ben Patterson
The folks at JetAudio have a bona fide hit on their hands with the tiny and sleek iAudio U2. While its flash-memory predecessor, the iAudio 4, was a little dull in the looks department, the U2 boasts stylish and elegant looks, an FM radio, line-in and built-in mic recording, and--if you can afford it--as much as 1GB of memory. While we wish the U2 had more recording options, we heartily recommend this small wonder for music lovers who want their tunes in a teeny, tiny package.

ZDNet iRiver U10 (1GB) Review
- by Jasmine France and James Kim
After appearing in Asia in the early months of summer this year, the iRiver U10 has finally made its U.S. debut. The distinctive flash-based player comes in 512MB and 1GB capacities--at $199.95 and $249.95, respectively--and is packed with features. Its compact, miniature TV-like design also represents a departure from not only previous iRiver products but also MP3 players in general. Although we'd like to see a lower price point and higher capacity options (for example, a 4GB version for $249.95), we have to admit that we're enamored with the sleek and stylish iRiver U10.
