Consumer complaints about Extended Warranties - Cars and Trucks
- by n/a
Car dealers like to present extended warranties as ensuring the consumer's peace of mind. They might do that but the real question is whether they can be counted on to pay for major repairs during the term of the warranty. Guarantees and Warranties

Informed consumers avoid many of the hazards of the marketplace. This is also true when it comes to guarantees and warrantees.
When you buy a product, always ask for the warranty or guarantee in writing. If you do not have it in writing, the seller may not help you if you run into trouble with the item.
